Matt founded GCB in 1990 and opened for business 14 months later. Matt was first exposed to bungee during its founding years in 1988, while in New Zealand. He was later formally trained in bungee by Peter and John Kockelman of Bungee Adventures, California. More than 25 years later Matt still serves as president of GCB and has also expanded his business portfolio, serving as president for multiple companies mostly related to the bungee jumping field.
Favorite Jump: Running body harness dive or gainer.
Why GCB: Because of the incredible journey rich many diverse experiences, with people from all walks of life.
In the winter: I travel and compete in Freeride skiing internationally and continue to work with GCB trying to help the company progress and improve year after year. I also work with Bungee Consultants International helping clients all over the world achieve their goals of running a bungee jumping company.
Why GCB: For many years, working at GCB has given me the chance to expand my skillset and enrich my life experiences in ways that I never could have foreseen when this journey begun more then 10 years ago.
